WinterLand is how Downtown Cleveland creates holiday magic. Downtown Cleveland, Inc. lights up Public Square and Voinovich Park all season long, welcoming everyone to celebrate in the heart of the city. Public activation is central to a thriving downtown, and there is no time like the holidays to bring people together, support small businesses, and energize our city streets.

Every year on Small Business Saturday (the Saturday after Thanksgiving), we welcome tens of thousands of visitors to Public Square to celebrate the kickoff of the WinterLand season. All are welcome to enjoy ice skating, holiday performances, marshmallow roasting, and more. Produced by Downtown Cleveland, Inc. in partnership with the City of Cleveland, this festival has remained a staple of Clevelanders' holiday traditions for nearly 40 years. ‍

WinterLand Kickoff Day Presenting Sponsor - SOLD

Tree Sponsor

Our 50-foot tree is the reason for the season, drawing tens of thousands of visitors to Public Square every year. During the kickoff event, tree lightings will take place every half hour, allowing attendees an opportunity to witness the magic on their own schedule. The tree will sync up to the new holiday Illuminate CLE lighting show, repeating every 30 minutes through 11pm.

The tree (and your branding) will be displayed on Public Square mid November - early January.

Ice Rink Dasher Boards

Dasher boards line the barrier wall surrounding the ice rink, separating spectators and skaters. The boards are available for purchase where sponsor brand, logo, or message are printed on durable vinyl stickers, which adhere to these highly-visible boards. These boards remain up from November through February.
