Juneteenth Freedom Festival

Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery on June 19, 1865 - the day when all African Americans were freed from slavery. Set to take place on Saturday, June 14 from 11:00 am – 8:00 pm on Mall C in the heart of Downtown Cleveland, the city-wide, family-friendly celebration and commemoration of Juneteenth is one you don’t want to miss.
Light Up The Lake
July 4th, 2025 5-10pm
Downtown Cleveland, Inc. is going bigger and brighter for the Fourth of July with this year’s Light Up the Lake celebration. Presented by Minutemen Family of Companies, with additional support from Circle K and the City of Cleveland, downtown’s lakefront will host two watch parties filled with free, family-friendly fun, local food vendors and front-row views of Cleveland’s dazzling fireworks display over Lake Erie – Downtown Cleveland, Inc.’s at Voinovich Park and North Coast Waterfront Development Corporation’s at North Coast Yard.
