Business Retention

The Downtown Cleveland Alliance (DCA) is working to build better lines of communication with the downtown business community. Attracting and retaining quality downtown employers is extremely important to our organization and we recognize that the strength of Cleveland's downtown business community is essential to the overall vibrancy of our city. The goal of this economic development program is to retain quality downtown employers and help them develop a greater presence in downtown.

Office Visitation Program

• A representative from DCA personally contacts downtown office tenants in order to learn more about their business and office space needs. During the one-hour visit, we provide a brief update on developments and projects moving forward in Downtown, learn more regarding the company's experience working downtown and doing business in the city. These visits are a great opportunity for a business to express their opinions and plans for the future.

  Our goal is to make sure that your business is open and aware of every opportunity that exists in Downtown. Together, we will brainstorm ideas of connecting your business to resources that could aid in your future growth and success.

Business Forums

• Throughout the year, Downtown Cleveland Alliance conducts business forums that provide company representatives a unique opportunity to personally meet with civic leaders, learn about the agenda for improving downtown, and voice their valuable opinions. Each forum lasts under two hours and includes a brief panel discussion followed by a brief question-and-answer session. Issues such as public safety, development projects, City incentives and much more, are brought to the table for discussion.
  
  Business forums are scheduled four times per year and rotate between Playhouse Square, Historic Warehouse, Flats Forward, Historic Gateway, and Erieview and NineTwelve Districts. For more information about the forums, e-mail Sheri Drake or call 216-325-0946.
