    Downtown Cleveland’s popular Food Truck Series is rolling back into town May 1 through September 30. Every weekday, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, one of five iconic locations will come to life with a rotation of 50-plus food trucks and live local music throughout the summer.

    Field Day offers games, toys, and sports equipment to be loaned out for free - whether you’re a kid or a kid at heart! Provides equipment for use while the volleyball courts are being used for Lakefront Leagues

    Pack a picnic and head to Voinovich Park at North Coast Harbor every Sunday evening, June 1st - August 24th, for free, family-friendly chamber ensemble music performed by OPUS 216! From 7-8:15pm, enjoy relaxing music while watching the Lake Erie sunset at the northwest corner of the park.

  • Kickboxing on the Square

    Grab a pair of gloves (& a buddy!) and shuffle your way to the lawn of Public Square! Whether you’re just learning to strike or have been bobbing and weaving for a while, you’ll be sure to have fun at this all ages, multi-level kickboxing class!

  • Harbor Hustlers Run Club

    Thursdays, June 5th - Sept 25th (no June 19th)

    North Coast Harbor’s wellness initiative, Harbor Hustlers Running Club, is the perfect way to enjoy Downtown Cleveland and burn calories. Harbor Hustlers is a free running club welcoming runners from all fitness levels and ages.

    Our runs are led by area coaches, and workouts are around 1 hour and includes; warm up, run and/or circuit training and cool down. Runs begin and end in Voinovich Park, and routes vary week to week!

  • Sketch the Square

    1st and 3rd Sundays, June-August

    3-6 pm

    Try your hand at sketching and watercoloring! Supplies and instruction are provided as well as other experienced sketchers nearby to give you tips and encouragement.

    Sessions are led by Jeff Suntala, a lifelong Greater Clevelander, watercolor artist and avid sketcher. He produces an annual Cleveland Watercolor Calendar every year and heads the Cleveland Urban Sketchers group, the local chapter of the worldwide Urban Sketchers organization.

Reimagining Downtown Cleveland

Our goal is not simply “getting back to normal,” rather, we must capture the momentum we had before the pandemic to accelerate our evolution into a model 18-hour, 15-minute neighborhood. We envision Downtown Cleveland as the vibrant, welcoming city center that weaves districts and surrounding neighborhoods into a seamless urban fabric, attracts modern economic activity, and provides a world-class experience for people of all backgrounds.

Districts

  • Gateway District

    The Gateway District is Downtown’s bustling hub for retail, dining, and entertainment. This vibrant district is home to a variety of top destinations and attractions, in addition to many residential buildings.

  • Warehouse District

    The Warehouse District is home to top dining, lively nightlife, and historic architecture. Cleveland’s first neighborhood, the District boasts 19th century charm with 21st century amenities.

  • Playhouse Square

    The largest performing arts district in the country outside of New York City, Playhouse Square is a dynamic hub for arts and culture.

  • The Flats
